Cupcake Eating Contest

2pm Saturday, 17th October. Monument
18th October 2009:
Thank you everyone who turned out to support the contest, which was a great success for St Oswald's. The money raised is yet to be counted but check back in a few days to find out how much we did.

Student Andrew Mowat gulped down 7 cakes in the three minute time frame. The Liverpudlian also lists pizza and weetabix amongst his favourite foods.

Many many thanks to the other 15 contestants for their sterling efforts, including runners-up Mark Newton and Jasmine Ives-Keeler. And to all contestants generally for being up-for-it and incredibly patient during the technical delay!

We're also grateful to host Kevin Hindmarsh and Steve from Cabvertising for the New York taxi.
