Before class you should  -

• Read the corresponding chapter(s) without taking notes or underlining
• Download materials from this website
• Study the vocab words (flashcards... etc.)  KNOW THE         VOCAB WORDS
• Read the chapter a second time

During class you should -

• Attend all classes, pay attention and take very few notes.  The notes you take from lecture shoud just clarify what you didn't understand when you read.
• Ask questions, ask questions, ask questions

After class you should -

• Reread the section focusing on the topics covered in class.
• That same day, review your notes from lecture
• Become part of a study group and teach each other the material, ask each other questions
• Write down questions about the material you don't understand
• Study the vocabulary
