I'm wondering what other students are doing for their internship and how they are keeping track of their hours. I am going to attend training in Promethean Activeboards and lead a professional development day at my school. The whole premise to to stray away from the overhead to a more interactive tool like the activeboard. I am not to sure how I am going to keep track of the hours I complete while learning the tool. There is going to be a lot of downtown at school with me just "tinkering around" with the thing until I learn all of its capabilities. Here is my list of questions:
1. How are students going to log their hours?
2. What evidence needs to be provided to the instructor that I indeed completed my hours?
3. At the end of the semester is it necessary for my students to be familiar with the activeboard or just the teachers?

Hi Mae. For my intership, I'm working with one of my staff members to develop an Employee Orientation Program. (I got started on it back in April since it's a pretty extensive project.) We have developed or are in the process of developing 25 modules for the program. Each module contains guidance to the employee (including objectives, content and activities to support the content) and guidance to the contact (who is either a manager, trainer or peer). To track my hours, I've developed an excel spreadsheet that includes columns for the date, hours and associated task. If you want, I can email it to you.
