LDT Internships - Welcome!

This site is for teachers and instructional designers completing INTE 6930 Internships in Learning Design and Technology at the University of Colorado Denver. If you are NOT in the LDT program nearing graduation, please contact Brad Hinson about whether you should be in this class.

Review the course syllabus and download it for your records. Students are largely responsible for arranging their own internship and assuring it meets all requirements, but if you need help, guidance or tips with finding something - please ask. When you are ready to begin a project, submit a proposal for work, here. Projects should consist of at least 90 hours of fieldwork for 3 academic credits.

Although INTE6930 may or not be on the class schedule, Internship projects can be done any time of year. These simply need to be coordinated with the instructor. If the semester ends before the internship is complete, a grade of In Progress (IP) will be issued - the IP grade carries no penalty and is resolved as soon as the work is completed. Generally, you can complete the internship within a year of enrollment in INTE6930. We will correct the grade when the internship is complete

A form for your supervisor evaluation will be used at the end of your project - the link is also found in the syllabus.

Here are some examples of previous internship reports. A separate website is not required but can be an attractive part of your portfolio.

Please email or sign-up for a Zoom meeting if you have any questions or concerns. I'm happy to meet and consult any time.

Thanks!
