Welcome to the Columbia University INFORMS Student Association website.

Our organizations is made up of undergraduate as well as graduate students whose purpose is:

1. To promote interest in the fields of operations research and the management sciences
2. To facilitate the exchange of ideas and information regarding methods and techniques in operations research and the management sciences
3. To foster a sense of community among students in operations research and the management sciences
4. To provide mentoring for students seeking careers or higher education in operations research and the management sciences
5. And to connect students in operations research and the management sciences with speakers from industry and academia

We coordinate with the University and the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) to bring speakers and host social events.
