Commercial Users of Functional Programming - Michigan
Who are we?
We are software developers who believe that the ideas embodied in the Functional Programming paradigm have the potential to revolutionize software development in much the same way that structured programming did in the 70's and object-orientation did in the 80's and 90's. Further we believe that rather than treat FP as an academic novelty, people should be encouraged to start using FP languages and techniques for commercial work. Our mission is to educate software developers on how to incorporate FP into commercial solutions and to promote better software development practices in general.
If you want to learn about the group or be notified of upcoming meetings and/or programs, please feel free to join the CUFPx_Michigan mailing list.
