Our Lady of Mercy

Dear Fuen and Pack 10,

Just wanted to express my gratitude to the Madrid Pack 10 Scouts for the very generous donations of food for the poor. During these troubled times, there are an increasing number of mouths to feed. Your donations were given to families that have absolutely no income coming at all. They live on charity.

The Scouts are a great organization, Pack 10 Madrid makes them ever greater.

Aitana García is a 10 year old girl from Tarazona, near Zaragoza. Her family is raising money to get her to the Children's Hospital Boston for a double heart and lung transplant.

To help with fund-raising, a plastics recycling company named BilboPlastik is paying the family €200 for every ton of plastic bottle tops they can collect. A number of organisations are taking part and Digital factory and SEUR are donating their services to transport the bottle tops to the recycling plant in Vizcaya.

We would like to help out and Pack 10 members are requested to save their plastic bottle tops and bring them in to Den and Pack meetings.
