Award Opportunities

In addition to Cub Scout Advancement, numerous opportunities exist for Scouts to earn awards.

These opportunities include Sports and Academic Belt Loops and Pins, Religious Awards and numerous conservation themed awards.

Each begins with a fun Belt Loop award as an introduction and has an optional Pin award for more practice or learning. Cub Scouts who earn the pin awards may wish to wear their awards on the Cub Scout Academics and Sports Award Program Letter which may be sewn onto the patch vest or blanket. The letter will be presented when a Scout earns his first pin. For more information on the program, visit MeritBadge.org or Scouting.org
