2009 PINEWOOD DERBY RESULTS
The 2009 PACK 233 PINEWOOD DERBY is over. It’s Official. The times are in!! Thanks to everyone who participated in the Race and all of you who came to watch and cheer on your favorite. Some cars flew down the track, some glided and some gave it their all but just couldn’t make it first to the finish line.
Each car was uniquely creative! The Best of Show Winner was Quinn Mullally with his "Alias Alien" car. The overall champion of the PACK 233 PINEWOOD DERBY is Riley Popp, with a total time of 9.880.

Congrats to Caleb Stevenson and Emerson Smith whose cars did their best to represent Pack 233 in the Heartland District Pinewood Derby on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at The RiverPlex - 500 NE Water St, Peoria, IL 61603. Over 80 scouts participated in the races. Showing the teamwork and stick-to-it-ness that makes Pack 233 so well known, Caleb finished 35 and Emerson finished 36. Our Wolf leader Todd Stevenson picked up a great deal of information concerning the design of the winning cars so we now have a resident expert for next year's race. |
