Project Information

The Tri-State Connecticut River Targeted Watershed Initiative includes a detailed monitoring component and extensive public outreach.  An innovative IT-based public outreach campaign is being created that  includes a web-based virtual watershed tour highlighting water quality problems and project sites, and mobile story tours for each task in this grant.

This website serves to keep the community informed about the progress of the Initiative, and to provide supporting online educational activities and resources.
People may visit this site for many different reasons.
•    You might be a recreational user, interested in information about fishing, hiking, or boating.
•    You might be an elected official or a citizen concerned about the natural environment and ways you can help to improve it.

This area has a rich history, which can often provide a different perspective on our present day situation.
