Chris Timm


I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I began working with my father at Vintage Arts during my high school years. Vintage Arts specialized in restoration and repair of antique furniture. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Utah State University in 1990. I continued working for Vintage Arts until 1998 when I started building furniture and opened C. Timm Custom Furniture.

When building furniture, I am involved in the whole process from choosing lumber and materials to rubbing out the final finish. I take pride in using the best materials and joinery for any given job. I enjoy the challenge of each new piece.
