On March 18, 2005 Art's new car arrved and headed to the Power By Ford shop in Orlando, FL for the engine install.

Completed just 5 days before the Hot Rod Power Tour it got it's first road test. Art and Joe, Ed and Wilda, Jim and Tiffany,and Chris Broomfield all gathered in Birmingham with their cars for a trip down memory lane with 2500 street rods and custom cars. A tropical storm washed out many of the events and although we were thoroughly drenched several times our spirits were high as we read maps, lunched at Carlyle's BBQ and hit lost of other small eateries on the way home.

A trip to Bithlo Speedworld for the Nights of Fire exhibition and then on to another Reptile Roundup (Nancy even got behind the wheel for a few laps) completed a full year of activities when you consider we also did local car shows, monthly breakfasts, a Christmas party, trips to vintage races in Sebring and Daytona and numerous other events.

The group continued to grow in interest tand activites as we look forwarad to yet another year of fun.
