The 2011 CSWGA Open Championship took place on a sunny September Sunday at beautiful Wooden Sticks GC in Uxbridge. The Wooden Sticks is more than simply a place to golf. A beautiful scenery surrounding almost every hole, top-notch practice and club facility gave our event a special touch. The day began with players registration followed by a buffet style lunch, a warm-up under the supervisory of CPGA golf instructor, a former LPGA pro-player, Karin Mundinger and a long awaiting tee-off of the first group. Believe it or not, the tee times were delayed by 30 min due to a morning frost! The first half of the tournament was played in a nice and warm weather, at least most of the front 9 holes. The back 9 turned out to be a chilly afternoon for some of the finishing groups. The most awaiting event concluded with an awards ceremony. The trophies were given to CSWGA members with the lowest gross totals in Ladies and Gentlemen categories. The 2011 CSWGA Open Champions are: Hanka Lejcar and Robo Lasak Congratulations!
