WHO ARE WE?
The Law Society was founded in September 1975 both to provide pre-law students with the information they need to make an intelligent choice about law school, and also to stimulate an interest in law on campus generally. The Society is a recognized campus organization. Membership in The Law Society is open to any student, faculty, or staff member of CSULB. Although many of The Law Society members are planning to attend law school, many others simply have an interest in the law and how it affects all the aspects of their personal, community, and business activities. While many members are business or political science majors, the membership of The Law Society encompasses a wide variety of interests and talents. Membership also embraces all classes- from freshman to graduate students.

How to join... The organization is open to all students that are interested. Anyone is welcome to our meetings and events. However, to become an official Law Society member you must pay semester. Dues are $25 for the semester, or $45, if you pay for two semesters at once. Where to meet... Law Society meetings are held in room 306 of the University Student Union on Wednesdays at 12:30 PM. The Law Society is an organization affiliated with the Associated Business Students Organizations Council (ABSOC) under the College of Business Administration. Each year, ABSOC attracts and draws in numerous students to our professional events and workshops, implemented to further their knowledge of the business world. These events help provide the tools in developing prospective careers. | Executive Board
The current Executive Board was elected at the close of the Fall 2011 Semester. Law Society members are elected to the Executive Board each semester. Executive Board members are in charge of running the Law Society, and managing its various clerical event planning needs.
