CSI High School GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY MR. MIANO COMPUTER LAB RULES 1. Students MAY NOT access personal email at anytime. Only GMail accounts are permitted. 2. Students may only sit in their assigned workstation. 3. Check your workstation before you use it. Report immediately if there is something broken, missing, marked, and/or not working properly – notify your teacher immediately. You are responsible for your area. 4. Attempting to download, open, use, or play any software, music, games, videos, etc. NOT related to lesson is strictly prohibited. 5. No music may be played or downloaded at ANY time during instruction or work periods. 6. Do NOT adjust settings, system preferences, wiring, etc., without specific permission from your teacher. 7. Do NOT change desktop backgrounds. 8. Use only the software that your teacher has allowed. Attempting to use inappropriate software or modifying the operating system in any way will lead to expulsion from the lab & possible suspension 9. Leave your workstation neat and organized. Push your chair in upon dismissal. 10. You must follow the NYC Dept. of Education for the “Internet Acceptable Use Policy” as explained by your teacher. CLICK HERE 11. Littering is prohibited. ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD, DRINK, CANDY OR GUM CHEWING AT ANY TIME. 12. Graffiti or any writing on the workstation is prohibited. 13. Do not attempt to remove the keyboard, mouse, or mouse pad at ANY time. 14. Do NOT attempt to repair or modify the laptop at ANY time. Report any problems to your teacher immediately. 15. Proxy Bypass sites are STRICTLY prohibited. DO NOT attempt to utilize them at any time. I HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND WILL COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE RULES. I UNDERSTAND THAT VIOLATIONS OF ABOVE WILL LEAD TO DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS.
