JANUARY to NOVEMBER GABIAN BOOK FAIR - Last Sunday morning of every month, 10am to midday held in room at the rear of L'escale Bar Restaurant (opposite the Hotel de Ville) which are both on the main road through Gabian. Volunteers to help out once every few months would be most welcome so please contact Pauline O'Shea if you can help out, at  pauline.o-shea@orange.fr or Tel: 0963 62 83 54.

WALK FOR LIFE - SUNDAY 25th September (morning)

The Walk for Life will take place at Bessiles Parc near Montagnac in the Herault, offering our members and supporters the opportunity to be sponsored and join us on a 6 km or 13.5 km walk (or run for the fittest!) in this beautiful regional parc among vineyards and pine forests. The 6 km walk is on easy terrain and suitable for all levels of walkers. Participants will be able to start the walk betwen 9.00 and 11.30 am.

Do put the date in your diary for a fun day out. Come and join us, for the exercise, to walk for someone close to you affected by cancer or simply to support our work.

If you do not wish to be sponsored, a 5€ participation fee will be payable on the day (children free).

 Enjoy a paella lunch afterwards at the park Café (cost €12 inclusive of dessert and wine) or bring your own picnic and use the park's picnic area.
