Lil' Lightning/Roughnecks Tournament Weekend

 
May 30, 2011:  Congratulations Lil' Lightning and Roughnecks for a great weekend of soccer.  Thanks for playing the game the way it should be played! Good luck next weekend! 
 
MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Capital Soccer Association (CSA) Lightning is to provide technical and tactical instruction in the game of soccer and to provide competitive youth soccer opportunities that enhance character, community and love of the game of soccer.  Integrated in this is the building of self-esteem, self-confidence, team work, respect for self and others, and all the inherent benefits of physical exercise. To this end, the goals for those involved are as follows:

1.    Create an environment where individuals will have fun and develop a passion for the game of soccer.

2.    Provide the technical and tactical background that will allow individuals to develop and compete to their fullest potential.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WE TRY TO MANAGE, TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY, THE SCHEDULES FOR SEVERAL TEAMS.  IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ ALL COMMUNICATIONS AND CHECK THIS SITE REGULARLY FOR CHANGES (AND THERE WILL BE CHANGES!) AND UPDATES!!

  • Flower Power Fundraiser: Help us raise funds by purchasing spring flowers! Click here for link.

    • FLOWER POWER! 
      • Fundraiser has ended--Thank you to all those that participated!
      • We raised approximately $1160 for Lightning Soccer that will be applied to tournament registration fees and travel papers.
    Car Wash
    • The CSA Lightning Soccer teams conducted a free Carwash on Aug. 22, 2009 at the South Walmart in Lincoln.
    • The event brought in $853.00 for Lightning Soccer.
    • Many thanks to Walmart, the Lisa Sterling agency, and all those that helped with the event!
     Raising Cane's
    • The CSA Lightning Soccer teams conducted a fundraiser at Raising Cane’s on Aug. 25, 2009. 
    • This event brought in $273.00 for Lightning Soccer. 
    • Many thanks to Raising Cane's and all those that helped with the event!
