John Allgood, a 2007 graduate of Washington and Lee University, of Mobile, Alabama, was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  John recently found out that his treatments have been working and that there is no cancer left in his body.  John has now finished his final treatment.  Email Katherine at shell.katherine@gmail.com if you would like more information about John or how to get in touch with him. 

Laura Brown, who is originally from the Birmingham, AL area, is undergoing chemo for her non-small cell carcinoma with hypercalcemia.  Currently, Laura is at M.D. Anderson in Houston.  One of her friends notes that Laura is "super sweet, laid back and has the best spirit," which she has kept throughout her treatment.  Laura and her husband, Walter Brown, of Newnan, Georgia, keep her Caring Bridge page updated a few times a week.  You can visit her site at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/laurabrown.    

Lisa Chandler, of Norfolk, Virginia, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is beginning chemotherapy soon.  Please check her website, http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/lisachandler/journal, for more information about her recent diagnosis and course of treatment.  When told that she should go buy a wig in preparation for her treatment, Lisa said that she "may buy three and rotate between being a blonde, brunette and redhead!"
