Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America since 1983. Today, CMN hospitals treat 17 million children each year for every disease and injury imaginable. CMN hospitals provide state-of-the-art medical care, life-saving research and preventative education for children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.Through its year-round efforts to help hospitalized kids, CMN has raised more that $3.5 billion to date, most of which is donated a dollar or two at a time by caring individuals across North America. CMNs founding pledge to keep 100 percent of donations in the area in which they were raised and to put children first in all it does remains at the core of its philosophy.Keeping with the CMN tradition, all funds raised locally benefit the sick and injured children that visit Duke Children’s Hospital in Durham, NC which is nationally ranked among the best in pediatric health care programs C

Golden Corral restaurants across the country are invited to participate and each year has grown with increased participation and increased contributions. All monies collected will go 100% to the children’s hospital in the restaurant geographic location. All contributions collected by our Asheboro Golden Corral will benefit the Duke’s Children Hospital in Durham, NC. 
Old Time Chili Cook-Off The focus of the event is to showcase Randolph County history, the museums that are here and to let them tell their story. Besides, chili was a mainstay of early settlers, farmers, families - well -just about everybody. And it still is today. Yum, yum! The Old Time Chili Cook-off is a production of the Randolph Heritage Conservancy, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. |
