My Professional Trajetory - Lieda Amaral

 
 
 
 Innovating for live and learning for survive!
I was born and grew up on Natal – RN, the sunshine´s city. I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Science at UFRN in 1984 (average 90% - 18 in Europe),  then worked in my brother´s office for four  years and a half before moving to Rio de Janeiro in 1988 to do an M.Sc. in Finance  Accounting at FGV Business School. That time I was selected as trainee in some big companies and also working as teacher at University Salgado de Oliveira and Gay Lussac Institute. I completed a M.SC. in Production Engineering in 2001 and now I'm a Technology and Information System PhD Student at UMINHO - Portugal.

1993 -  actual - approved in open national competition for the position of Federal Tax Auditor - final average 9,0 - 90% (18 in Europe)- Salvador - BA
1993 - 1998  - Head of the Guidance Center for the Taxpayer - Salvador - BA
1999 - Delegate of Income Tax and substitute professor at UFRN - Natal - RN
2000 - 2002 - General Cordinator of Social Security Icome Tax - Brasilia - DF
2002 - 2004 - Head of Risk Management at MPS - Brasilia - DF
2004 - 2004 - General  Director of Brasilian Security Income Tax - Brasilia - DF
2003 - 2008 - Member of the Panel of Experts at International Monetary Fund - IMF, participating in some international missions
2003 - 2008 - Professor at FGV Business School
2004 - 2005 - Vice Ministry at MPS - Brasilia - DF
2005 - 2005 - Secretary at Social Security Income Tax - Brasilia - DF
2005 - 2005 - Deputy Secretary at Federal Revenue Secretariat (Secretaria da Receita Federal do Brasil) - Brasilia - DF
2008 - ?       - Working on a Ph.D. in Technology and Information Systems and researching about risk management and crowdsourcing innovation.
 
These experiences have shaped my career and research interests ever since.
