Crosswinds Farm is located in Eastern Iowa just North of Davenport and the Quad-Cities. We are home to a small flock of registered Shetland sheep in a rainbow of colors. While we do focus on breeding for spotted Shetlands, our main emphasis is on sound conformation and continually working towards producing  fine, soft, crimpy fleece for which the Shetland breed is best known.
We typically breed our ewes in November-December and lambs are born the following April and May.  Check out our Shetland Sheep for sale pages if you are interested in purchasing lambs or breeding stock.

Countdown

Along with our flock of Shetlands, we are owned by a menagerie of other critters that have found their way into our lives.

We keep a flock of approximately 60 hertitage and rare breed laying hens, as well as a couple of comical roosters that wander around and entertain us.

Llamas and horses and dogs, oh my! Yup, we have a little bit of everything here and you can keep up with all their antics on our blog: www.crosswindsfarm.blogspot.com
