For free wireless internet access in Montreal, we strongly advise that you create an account with Ile sans fils, which is a local not-for-profit organization that provides free wireless hot spots throughout the city. While we cannot guarantee free wireless access for you at both university sites (McGill, for example, is a bit of dead zone with respect to wireless access), there should be many access points just off campus for those who need to use the internet.
