Our Purpose

NOAH's Assistance Dogs and Canine Crisis Response was built on the belief that after horrible disaster, destruction or personal tragedy, the world is built anew when two-by-two we walk together and rebuild what was destroyed.

NOAH's Canine Crisis Team is a program of NOAH's Assistance Dogs, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving others through the use of trained dogs.

Our crisis response mission is to assist and aid individuals by providing crisis intervention after a community tragedy.

Our teams join with disaster mental health and emergency response agencies to provide support through psychological first aid and critical incident stress management.

Individual responders are trained in various aspects of psychological first aid and critical incident stress management.  Canine partners are certified as therapy dogs for work in their home communities and in disaster or other emotionally charged crisis situations.
