On Tuesday, the expansion for Phantasy Star Universe came out for Xbox 360, PS2, and PC. The PC and PS2 versions required the purchase of an additional disc, however, the Xbox 360 version only requires a 2 hour download. Aside from the rather long amount of time it takes for the game to download, there is another catch for 360 owners: No offline story mode. While PS2 and PC owners are enjoying the new cutscenes you'll be stuck with the same old online story expansion that's been in the game for awhile. However, the 360 download is cheaper, and you still get all the new weapons, lobbies, achievements, and more.

The two new classes, Acrofighter and Acrotecher, are mainly for the new weapons added to the game including the Slicer, Photon Whip, Madoogs, and Shadoogs. In addition to the new weapons are new missions, inlcuding a not so new boss, De Rol Le, a fan favorite from PSO! There is also a new Casino lobby where players can be special Casino tokens, 100 bronze tokens in 1 silver, 100 silver tokens in 1 gold. Every 24 hours, the player is provided with 1 silver token, and from there the player can play the Slots or Roulette to win more and exchange them for several prizes.

A lot of the basic game mechanics have been tweeked slightly to make the game less frustrating. Instead of losing rank when a player dies, as long as someone else in the party revives them, the rank is not affected. Also, it is much easier to level up from level 1-100 because the monsters in general are easier to kill and give more experience.

My favorite feature added to the game in the expansion is the vastly improved "My Room". With new room tickets, players have a large grid in which they can place their decorations instead of the boring colored squares. Also, the new room decorations are much more interactive, including chairs, bells, dancing plants and much more.

Over all, the expansion brings back a lot of what people liked about PSO, lobby games and interesting bosses, while adding a lot of new and interesting aspects. If you have been playing PSU for a long time like I have, this is the dose of awsomeness the game has needed for a long time.

Over the past week I've been playing The Orange Box for the Xbox 360, which is 5 games in one box. The first thing I did was play through Portal, an amazing puzzle/platform game where you use a "portal gun" to open rips in space-time to jump from one place to another. It has a type of dark humor that was just great for me. The puzzles are challenging enough to make you think without being overly frustrating.

After beating Portal, I moved on to Team Fortress 2, also an amazing game. It's strictly multiplayer and is a classic style shooter with different classes all with their own advantages and faults. I personally prefer the engineer because of all the neat things he can build on the battlefield like turrets and teleporters. There are not many maps to choose from, but each map is pretty big, so you won't get bored any time soon.

The other three games in The Orange Box are Half Life 2, and it's two "expansions" Episodes 1 and 2, which continue the story. The Half Life series needs no introduction, Look anywhere on the internet and you'll here nothing but praise for it. It's an amazing series, and The Orange box gives you a large chunk of it plus two other amazing games for just 60 dollars. Like the back of the box said, it's the best deal in video game history!

Today, I've decided to give a helpful guide to the Kerning City Party Quest in Maple Story. Over the last couple of days I have had the misfortune of encountering untold amounts of people who just don't seem to know how or what to do in the various stages in the Quest. Hope you enjoy it.

Hello there, this is the first of my many many updates to this site. I bet you're wondering what exactly this site is all about. This page is basically here for your benefit. I am happy to offer my assistance in any video games in my field of expertice. I specialize in Maple Story, Empire Earth, and a few other select titles on the PC. I know about basically every game on the Xbox and Xbox 360, from Jet Set Radio Future to Halo 3. I've been playing video games since I was 5, so I'm very familiar with a lot of the classics as well.

Feel free to e-mail me with any specific questions you may have at crimspin@gmail.com. Otherwise, I should be updating the site with general help about various games every week or so. I may also from time to time make a "blog-like" post where I may tell an interesting story or two.

Welp, hope you have a great time reading my site. Come Again!
