"Creran Carvings" is Dänion Neilson-Bell. Born in Ayrshire, Scotland in 1972. He is happily married to Iona Neilson-Bell and the father of two amazing children: Reuben and Taliah. Registered dyslexic, and a late developer of of his own admission, he left school with few qualifications of note except in Art and Craft and Design. He later studied in Israel, Chicago and Glasgow and now has an Hons degree in Theology and is a qualified teacher.  He has sometimes been known to write under the name Amon Lhaw and has a keen interest in all outdoor learning, especially mountain biking.
