Hi, I’m Raewyn Penrose, professional felt-maker. I operate a gallery/studio in Te Aroha, 90 mins drive SE of
Auckland, our largest New Zealand city. CreativeVacatioNZ introduces an exciting new small group tour
option for those who share a passion for fibre arts. Our tours are usually limited to a maximum of 5, ensuring
truly individual attention. The felt-making workshops will be tailored to your individual level of experience
and personal objectives over the 5 day program. We also cater for Individual dietary and food preferences.
We currently offer 2 standard tour formats :-
Our 12 day tour offers 5 fun days of my creative felt-making workshops supplemented with a variety of tours/excursions to some very interesting and special parts of New Zealand. The all inclusive tour cost covers Auckland pick up/drop off, quality accommodation in our picturesque spa town, high quality dining for the duration of your stay, plus complimentary passes to spa pools and other tourist attractions. A 3 day stay on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula is included in the standard 12 day tour, plus additional daily excursions to a variety of interesting areas. Our 7 day tour conveniently fits into a one week cycle – we collect from your flight on a Sunday, you enjoy the same 5 fun days of my creative felt-making workshops, quality accommodation and all meals for the duration of your stay in our picturesque spa town, plus complimentary passes to spa pools and other attractions. We then return you to your flight home on the following Saturday.
