 This website provides a first step in creating a community of practitioners who relate
to the ideas and practices described in the book... "The Creative Power" by William E. Smith Ph.D. The role of this website is to link us as leaders, organizations and communities to better address the greatest issues we face. The book helps us to create a common language, and a set of concepts that enable us to better understand the relation ship between purpose, power and performance. From this understanding we will build improved organizing processes that use more of the power available to us for the achievement of higher levels of purpose. This website is a Wiki so comments and additions can be directly added. There will be three types of pages: 1. Director pages which will provide the base structure and content and will not be alterable but can be commented on. 2. Associate pages produced by those with direct knowledge and experience of implementing the concepts developed in the book. 3. Community pages for those who have no direct experience but who wish to learn more and contribute their experience and ideas. |
