Our Philosophy
We believe children deserve to be listened to. By actively listening to children, and asking them what they would have us do for them, we can support their social, emotional, cognitive, physical, aesthetic and spiritual development. We believe in encouraging and fostering the development of the whole child.

We respect the diversity of families as well as the care giving and decision making roles of parents. We believe in the partnership between families and early childhood educators.

We believe in providing high quality play situations to empower children to be active in the learning process. We are committed to providing high quality childcare by offering a safe and nurturing environment where appropriate education practices are used. We ensure that all interactions with children are conducted with care and respect. We take into account the child's family, health and other social issues. We believe staff are entitled to a working environment that recognizes and respects training, skills and commitment to child care and demonstrates this through respectful communication and personnel policies.

The Centre enhances the lives of children, their families and community by providing a caring supportive and vital community service.
