@ Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Bio-inspired Computing (LBiC),
PhD student at LBiC, University of Campinas. Reach me at: I support the WCG: | About me
I graduated (top of the class) from Catholic University of Pernambuco, Brazil in 2008 and received the MSc degree in 2011 from Center for Informatics (CIn), Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), both in Computer Science. In 2010, I concluded the Singularity University's Graduate Student Program (GSP10) at NASA Ames Research Park, CA, where I worked with a incredibly talented group of international students on the development of scalable breakthrough technology for solving grand challenges such as poverty, upcycle, and space exploration. My research interests are: evolutionary computation, dynamic multi-objective optimization, memetic computing, swarm intelligence, cellular genetic algorithms, neural networks, time series forecasting, stochastic simulation, data clustering and quantum-inspired computing. Research and PublicationsIn my MSc research, I studied and developed new mechanisms for guiding the diversity generation process in dynamic evolutionaru multiobjective optimization problems (DEMO). My thesis is titled "Diversity Generation in Dynamic Evolutionary Multiobjective Optimization by Non-Dominance Landscapes".
Research FellowsThe following is a list of some skillful researchers whom I had the privilege of cooperate with: Tiago Ferreira; Francisco Madeiro; Waslon Lopes; Scott Gordon; Claus Aranha; Aluizio Araújo; Fernando Von Zuben Personal PhotosClick to see full-sized versions. |
