P.A.L.S.

Crawford County has a mentoring program called P.A.L.S. (People Actively Linked with Students); P.A.L.S. is financially supported by the Children’s Advisory Board and C.A.R.E.'s Drug Free Community Support Grant. This mentoring program connects youth with caring adults who can help them aspire, achieve, and develop to their fullest potential.  P.A.L.S. is led by Kathy Quamme.

Young people who need a mentor can be referred by teachers, counselors, family members, law enforcement, and/or social workers.  They are often children who are experiencing stressful home situations.  Some may be experiencing problems in school and need an adult to help tutor and encourage them.  And some of our young P.A.L.S. just need undivided attention from a good role model.

Please contact Kathy Quamme at (608) 326-0217 if you are 18 or over and would like to make a positive impact on a child's life!

There are NO FEES for becoming a mentor, but screening and a training is required.
