Some of my Favorite sites | 2-4-09Its been a while since I Updated this blog, but Happy New year! My birthday is right around the corner and it will mark 1 year of carrying concealed. To date I really havent had any incidents other than what was posted on the PAFOA website, but that seemed to work it self out and to test my abilities a bit. I digress, I have a new carry gun. I sold my M&P RIP, it was a good gun dont get me wrong but it was awfully heavy for my carry system. I stepped into a Kahr CW9 and Have never looked back. The gun is half the weight of the M&P 9c and very slim almost half the width too. I post a pic of the Kahr below. As far as other things, Im almost done school finally I only have about 4 credits left to take and then I can graduate. Although not looking forward to to paying back student loans. I started playing pool again, well this isnt really new but since I have been playing since I was 15 or so. But Over the past 4 months I started going back to the hall full time and really honeing in my skill to where it once was again and its coming back...slowly. I got 2 new cues a Lucasi Hybrid and a Scorpion Cue. The Lucasi is great and has a good feel better than almost any cue that I have shot with and it came with a price. The scorpion on the other hand what a deal it plays just as good as the Lacasi, but only cost about 85.00 and it really well made cue and very playable. Pics of those below too.Links to Pics. Its alot nicer not living with other people and putting up with their BS 24/7. The apartment is nice and it about the right size for us and its pretty big (1,200sq ft.) I think we are alot happier and it was for the better. Kara got her dog from her parents in Wisconsin and hes a good boy and listens really well. I coming up on my last few terms and i cant wait to finish college, I hate the school so much all they do is try to part you with your money and make you take classes that you don't really need but they tell you you need just to part you with your money.Pic of Don JuanGun, yes in still buying more guns. I think since the last post I have gotten two more. One was a Ruger LCP .380ACP. This gun is small and it fit right in my front pocket, gun seems to be a really good shooter, I have over 300 rds though it so far with only 2 failure and That i will contribute to the magazine.Pic of Ruger LCPI also picked up a new .22 target Pistol. Its a Smith and Wesson 22a. Its been a really shooter so far and has eaten everything i have thrown at it so far and it drives tacks at 25 yards. I have dont a few upgrades to it, smoothed out the trigger some and added a red dot sight and some new wood target comp. grips.Pic of Modified 22aAs for Kara and I, I think we are getting along good. We both work alot and dont get time to see each other that often. She gets home and she is tired from work and school and same with me. I still Love her just as much as the day I met her, I really dont know what I would do with out her in my life. I really think she is the one, as much as we aruge sometimes, she makes me just as happy. I love you Babe.On another note, work is still going good minus the fact there are some rumors flying around that we might be selling to another company. The company that was look was Windstream out of Ohio. Embarq has denied that this is taking place but it was first reported by the Wall St. Journal, they are creditable enough for me to say the least. Estimated worth of the company was 5.7 Billion dollars. If we merged with another company we would go from being the 4th Largest Telco to the 3rd largest telephone company in the US with over 9 million customers. Olny time will tell Iguess. 5-14-08Well things are hectic right now. We are moving to a new apartment in Harrisburg, that bigger than the one we are in now, plus no it will just be the 2 of us instead of the 4. Anyhow I bought the lady her first firearm, a Sig Sauer Mosquito .22, its just some small and fun to shoot. On the other hand I also purchased a new carry piece, a Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm Compact. It both guns have been great so far. I have just about 600 rounds though the M&P failure free, and well the Sig its picky on the type of ammo it takes, but once figureing out that it loves CCI minimag ammo, its has just about 300 rds failure free. Links to pics are below.Pic 1 Pic 3Pic 2 Pic 44-28-08Wow, Its been a while since I updated this page. There are just so many things going on between work and school and getting ready to move again.
