| 04/24/07 Greetings all! It would appear, suddenly, and without warning, that Spring is upon us. I don't know about you folk, but I feel like I'm caught in a wonderful dream from which I hope to never wake. I've been filling my time with creativity art and beauty which feels incredible. This summer is going to be remarkably rich and music, words and real fruit flavour! I've added a bunch of dates to the Shows section so feel free to come by and pay me a visit any of those dates. For those of you with limited finances, drop me a line and I'll see about guest-listing you. I'm in the process of working on a new EP with Amanda Mabro and preparing to shoot a music video for Superwoman In The Making, which I couldn't be more stoked about. Also, I've been working on the upcoming issue of Four Minutes To Midnight which is proving to be rad as expected. There, I've kept you in the know, please feel free to do the same about yourselves.
04/16/07 Web presence is a beautiful, beautiful thing, and thanks to the good people at Google I once again have a place in the ever-expanding universe of the internet. For those of you unfamiliar with me or my many exploits, I'm a musician, producer and writer born and raised in Montreal. This will henceforth be the place where I will be posting songs, writing and thoughts. A few events have recently made it such that I feel that I need a place to express myself creatively as I am continually welling up with complaint, protest, indignation and joy. The death of Kurt Vonnegut, whose all-pervading influence on my life still affects me very profoundly, leaves me wanting me to say so much. Also, today was a day of great loss for the world, as over 20 people were gunned down at a university in the US. This raises questions, questions I can't hope to find answers to, but that are now calling for more substantial outlets. That said, let the surfing begin, and feel free to contact me for comment, thought-exchange or discourse. |
"No matter how
corrupt, greedy, and heartless our government, our corporations, our
media, and our religious and charitable institutions may become, the
music will still be wonderful."
-Kurt Vonnegut
