Day Sailing on Eagle Mountain Lake

This Summer, we will be sailing on occasional weekends in fair weather on Eagle Mountain Lake.  Departing from the Fort Worth Boat Club (FWBC) or Harbor One Marina at Eagle Mountain Lake.  Attend the weekly happy hour for the latest information and sign-up sheets – see our new online interactive calendar, too.

Participation is based on space available and weather permitting.  Wear non-scuffing, soft-soled shoes and bring your own refreshments.  The FWBC is located at 10000 Boat Club Rd. in Fort Worth.

Directions to Fort Worth Boat Club:  From Northwest Loop 820 in Fort Worth, exit at Azle Ave. (FM 1220) and go west to Boat Club Rd.  Turn right (north) and go approximately 7.8 miles to where Boat Club Rd. forks to the left.  This is approximately one mile past Harbor One Marina and across from Eagle Mountain Elementary School.  Turn left at the fork where there is a sign indicating FWBC to the left.  Proceed two miles to the FWBC. [MAP]

Harbor One Marina is located at 9315 Boat Club Rd. [MAPDirections to Harbor One Marina are same as above except the marina is three miles closer than FWBC.

Occasionally, we sail from Scott's Landing Marina on Lake Grapevine.  Scott's Landing is located at 2500 Oak Grove Loop South* in Grapevine's Oak Grove Park. [MAP]  *This street was formally known as "Park Road One" or "Park Road #1."  The old name still appears on the online map.

Cowtown Mariners meet every Thursday at 6:30 P.M. at Ernie's Seafood, 8206 Bedford-Euless Rd. in North Richland Hills.

Take a look at the pictures in the Sailing Photo Album (coming soon) to see what it's like.
