Copyright and Fair Use

Follow these guidelines when using media (photos and audio/music) in your projects:
  1. Homegrown - Create your own
  2. Creative Commons - Use media for which permission to re-use has been already granted
  3. Fair Use - Use media in accordance with fair use provisions of copyright law for the United States.

Remember media falls into 2 broad categories: Media already licensed for re-use/remixing, and copyrighted media (all rights reserved) for which permission can be obtained to re-use/remix or "fair use" copyright law provisions MAY apply.
