Yet we are a congregation that is unapologetically Anabaptist in our theology. We draw upon a rich faith tradition as Mennonites, and support Mennonite agencies and organizations on a regular basis. Here are a few. Mennonite Central Committee - a relief, development and peace organization that works in some 60 countries. MCC is a worldwide ministry of Anabaptist churches. MCC is the humanitarian agency of the Mennonite Church. MCC seeks to demonstrate God's love by working among people suffering from poverty, conflict, oppression and natural disaster. MCC serves as a channel for interchange by building mutually transformative relationships. MCC strives for peace, justice and the dignity of all people by sharing our experiences, resources and faith in Jesus Christ. Check them out! Plus scripture meditations, blogs, and more. Mennonite Disaster Service is often one of the first relief groups on the scene after hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, and other natural disasters. They embody the helping action of service that is part of the Anabaptist tradition. The mission of Peace and Justice Support Network of Mennonite Church USA is to proclaim and promote God's desire for justice (Micah 6:8), Christ's call to peacemaking (Matthew 5:9), and the Spirit's reconciling work (Ephesians 2:11-22). Pink Menno - More and more, Lesbian and gay folks and allies have been stepping up and speaking out about their vision for a more wholly inclusive Mennonite Church USA.
