I'm convinced of the error in my couponing ways. I was taught by some
of the best couponers in Upstate New York, but I think I'm going to
change how I coupon. Currently, I go through all the flyers and cut
out ALL coupons and store them in my organized binder. This is
fabulous and allows me to just 'bring my binder' to stores and get
great deals. However, my binder is getting really big and it's not
easy searching through my binder with 3 kids in tow. It doesn't help
that my binder is on the fritz after it fell off my car after a trip to Target (yes I did leave it on top!). So, I've decided to adopt the iheartcvs way. I believe Laura has already made the transition. I like this way as I can use Coupon Mom's coupon database to search electronically what coupons I'd like to use instead of manually through my mangled, yet organized, binder. The down side is that when I don't have a lot of time to get organized before a shopping trip, I won't be able to just bring the binder. Oh well! |
Spend the time you would spend cutting coupons planning your trips for the week and getting those coupons together, then when you have time to go shopping everything is ready to go--just like your coupon binder would have been.
My main concern with the switch is that the coupon database doesn't always have the coupons that are in my papers. And it has some in the database that I don't have. But...I think I'm willing to give it a try.
That is a real concern...I go on a girls blog (ccherrypicker.blogspot) from ohio, maybe there is someone who does that in pennsylvania?
