When you buy Kemps milk, the cap will have a label on it which says "Nickels for Schools" Our school can redeem these caps, with the label intact, for 5 cents apiece. Last year we made $2000! How much milk does your family drink? These caps add up and it is cash for our school. Our caps are counted by volunteers. Here's how you can make their job a little easier: Please rinse your caps and let them dry before bagging them - counting shouldn't be a stinky job. When you send your caps to school please keep them separate from box tops, they go to different people for counting. A cap with no label is of no value, please don't send it. The plastic bag from your daily newspaper is an excellent bag for collecting milk caps and bringing them to school. Re-using at its finest! Kemps "Nickels for Schools" logo can be cut off other Kemps products which come in cartons. We can also redeem Land O Lakes milk caps. If you have collected both, sending them to school in separate bags would be helpful. Next time you are at a Starbucks ask them if you can have their saved milk caps. They just might hand you a bagful.
