Welcome to Oceanside Country Kids 4-H

Oceanside Country Kids is a 4-H club established through the San Diego County Cooperative Extension, which is a part of 4-H USA operated through UC Davis. 4-H is an organization that teaches our youth lifeskills including leadership, mentoring, citizenship, and community service. The 4-H experiential learning method, learning-by-doing, brings club members together to make new friends and discover new talents. Often 4-H is associated with animals; horses, poultry, rabbits, cavies, goats, but that is not always the case. There are many other projects within our club for non-animal lovers such as photography and grahics, arts and crafts, and  archery.  If we do not offer a project that you are interested in we can assist you in working with another club. One big event on the Country Kids' calendar is presenting our projects at the San Diego County Fair.

Club meetings are held monthly at Narwella Double Eagle Ranch, just 4 miles east of I-15, in Valley Center.  If you reside in the North San Diego County area and are interested in joining our club, please contact us via e-mail at narwella@aol.com or by phone at 760-749-2705.
