Anne was articled in Leeds from 1973-75, qualified and then joined Latimer Hinks in 1976. Anne became a partner in 1978 and Marketing Partner in 1998. Ms. Bar-David is equipped with an LLB degree in Law, a Masters of Social Work and a certificate in Organizational Development from the Canadian Organizational Development Institute. A member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and the International Federation of Professional Speakers, in her 25 years of international experience as lawyer, speaker, consultant, coach and family therapist, Sharon has worked with over 25,000 people in Canada and overseas through training sessions, consulting, coaching and keynote speeches. Her clients have consistently highlighted her outstanding ability to ‘stretch the envelope’ through clear and persuasive messages, delivered in an engaging and entertaining way. She has delivered over 1,500 training sessions, working extensively with many private and public organizations. Sharon’s career path led her from the practice of law in Israel (personal injuries litigation), through a Master’s degree and post-graduate fellowship in social work (specializing in family therapy) in Canada, to her final passion: changing lives through training and consulting. Somewhere along this path, she also managed a network of 50+ trainers for Canada’s largest EAP provider. Today, Sharon is a regular guest commentator for the Canadian HR Reporter magazine. She is the Co-Director of TapeStudies’ new flagship Executive Certificate in Human Services Leadership Program. Her expertise in organizational change is featured in a book she has co-authored, Awakening the Workplace. On a personal note, Sharon is the recipient of a gold medal award at The New York International Festivals for a program she created for CBC Radio, “The Magic of Falling Teeth“.
