Hometown: Ripley, Ohio Degree: Master of public health, the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice (TDI) Conway will soon be moving to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, to work as a community health director for the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians. “I wanted to help those who are under-served and work in a small community setting, and I was fortunate to get a job doing just that,” she says. “I am excited to start my new career. It seems fitting that I am taking a job working with Native Americans knowing Dartmouth's long history as a Native American college.” [Dartmouth was founded in part for the "instruction of Youth of the Indian Tribes."] Conway chose to have her photo taken at the Connecticut River because of her fond memories of kayaking with the Ledyard Canoe Club. “The water is so calming, and kayaking made me feel peaceful at Dartmouth.”
