7/365 June 10, 2008 98 degrees today, but with the humidity we were into the 100s for a head index again. Severe thunderstorms tonight (any minute now, actually) will hopefully give us a break from the heat wave. Back in January when I first attempted Project 365, my Mother asked me why I don't post something "nice" at work, like the industrial park/lake outside, instead of coffee cups and iPods. It was a shock enough that she was actually following my flickr account ;-) and I would have been glad to oblige, but I was taking pictures of coffee cups and iPods because in the middle of January there was nothing green out, not a leaf on a tree, lots of dirty snow and ice-covered cars, and the reservoir had been drained for repair and renovations. It looks much better six months later, so here you go, Mom ;-)

359/365 Which way to go?

I'm a bit at loss as to what to do this summer. I have a job that gives me a couple of hours a week covering shifts in a photo lab. But I have worked there over 4 years now and I would like a change, if anything just to liven up my CV ready for when I finish my degree. But I don't know what to do or where to look, jobs are few and even the employment agencies have been closing down in our town. I do however have a fair amount of money I have saved up sitting in a savings account currently not earning interest, so I could just spend it and have a really good summer. What to do what to do, either way I am bored stiff of holidays and need something to do.
