 Book of the Month Club
The book for this month is The Body of Christopher Creed by Carol Plum-Ucci.
All his life Christopher Creed had been considered a freak, the target of the bullies at his school. But when he disappears without a trace, things get stranger than ever. In this suspenseful, frank novel, sixteen-year-old Torey Adams tries to solve the mystery of what happened to Chris and, in the process, learns how truly brutal life can be.
We will explore several issues in the book, including: the effects of bullying, acceptance, and how exclusion affects others.
