Cork Burst
Cork removal with a sword. This can also be done with a kitchen knife along the glass seam in a champagne bottle. The glass top of the bottle breaks off with the cork still in it, so it’s an outdoor-only method….

Coolest thing to do with corks. Period.
This guy (and daughter - looking thrilled here) set up shop at the 17th Street Farmers' Market with an incredible assortment of clocks, bottle holders, and related things all made from wine corks. Very clean and well done, too. I'm going back next week for a bottle box (they're sitting on the top shelf in the shot).
