Day 22: Time for a Haircut
Day 22: Time for a Haircut
Today was pretty good (certainly better than yesterday). I went to lunch at Green Mill, got some errands taken care of and (as you can see) got a haircut. One thing that's special about this picture is that I was able to ask a complete stranger to help out with the project. I had my tripod with and simply asked. This led to a little conversation where the stylist said that she does photography for fun as well as some weddings for extra money. Also, partway through the haircut, the girl asked me if I wanted to take another photo. I figured 'hey, why not!' Hooray for helpful strangers! (I looked through my old photos and saw that I did ask a stranger for my St Patrick's Day picture my first 365. It fit into the little scavenger hunt our 365 group was doing and this one felt more "out in public" though.)
The Hairs Cut
The Hairs Cut
Yes, I got all my hairs cut. This didn't turn out as cool as I thought it would. I envisioned a flurry of hair raining from the sky from a hyper-frantic barber running around my chair transforming, what was once, a bushy mop-head of hair into a stark and naked looking bald head... I just realized that all my inner thoughts are played out as cartoons. Cool.
