March 31, 2010 - Yesterday, I started writing the section Odds, Ends and Beginnings for Fast Facts and Trivia: Is any of it true? March 25, 2010 - I am finally finished with said new section! (Although it's technically re-done from when the original was deleted....) March 20, 2010

true? It's called Word and Phrase origins. I've been so busy that I'm
not done with it yet, but I'll keep you posted. February 24, 2010 - This is first time I have used internal links. It is glorious.
February 20, 2010 - I have finished the first section of Fast Facts and Trivia: Is any of it true? It's called Animules and Vestibules. February 12, 2010 - I'm re-writing the page that was deleted -- the main section is up so far! Febrary 06, 2010 - Finished, lost, and then RE-FINISHED my article on arachnids, collecting facts, etc. January 8, 2010 - I feel the best I've ever felt in my life! School's started, I'm hanging out with my friends again.... I've taken a small break with this website, but I'm coming back, refreshed and with a PLAN! January 1, 2010 - Finally got the darned main page 'drawring' up... but when I tried to get the logo for the banner up there, it wouldn't go. I don't know why! December 29, 2009 - At last, my mouse-drawing of 'Gourdy' now has a home! December 26, 2009 - Well, back to it! I have a lot of work to do! December 20, 2009 - My roommates are slightly less crazy for right now, so I'm checking out my website and have found that parts of this website are just missing! Yeah!
The Internet Trivia; how much of it is even true? page is gone, and the
end of the UFO hoax page is gone too! I guess it's no big deal, though;
the Internet Trivia page was mostly based on previous evaluations I've
written, and I've been wanting to re-do it anyway. November 27, 2009 - Writing on paper just wasn't working out, so now I have a computer! Thank goodness! Now I'll be able to actually update this site! One question, though... how do I fix the titles so that they're on the colored bands at the top like they're supposed to be?
It looks good on paper! Since my internet access is extremely limited, I don't have the time required to find, read, edit, revise and organize the thousands of pages of material I've written online which were originally intended for this site. Instead, I am writing this entire website on paper and THEN type it here on the rare occasion I
have some internet access. Only then will I look into using internet
resources such as my own writing on such subjects, to add a few words
onto my 'paper' website. (For more information, read my Oct 14, 2009 blog post.) Nevertheless,
I'm cooking up plenty more amusing articles about logic, science,
deception, and struggling with one's own brain, which I'm organizing to
fit below: On October 7th, 2009 I divided the site into 'slots' into which various subjects will be 'dropped.' Both new material and updated versions of older material of mine will eventually have a place, if all goes according to plan. (Mua ha ha!) The idea here is to present science and critical thinking by showing people how it's actually done! (And no, you don't need to be a genius to get into it yourself!) Not only that, but I'll be contrasting scientific claims with non-scientific claims, logical reasoning with logical fallacies, etc, in order to point out the differences between them. (Warning: Some of this stuff might be terribly amusing!) To make it even more fun, there'll be exercises to get your own brain thinking and participating in the process! (However, you'll have to bring your own cookies.) I've even written a blog article (October 24, 2009) about How To Arrange This Website, and How Not To - which explains how I'm writing critical thinking topics and then adding other subjects as reference when the two intersect. Here goes... I have one category open, and more are soon to follow! |
