What are you up to now: Living on the beach in Malibu, CA, working in business development for a startup software company called Rapid7 (11 hour days so i don't get to bike much during the week). The riding around here is epic though, several 2000 foot climbs in the mountains behind my house. Lots of pro teams train in Malibu in the winter.

Favorite place to ride in Ithaca: Starting from campus, head down College Ave, to Mitchell, hitting State Street. Hang a left on Ferris and take the footbridge over Six Mile Creek. Go straight across to Columbia Street, head up the hill, then make a left on Hudson Street and continue uphill until it becomes Coddington. Bear right onto Troy Rd., make another route onto King Rd and continue uphill. Follow King over the ridge, across 96B, and keep going even after it curves to the left past Buttermilk Falls. Make a right onto Jersey Hill Road, and continue down the hill. It becomes Blakeslee Rd and gets very steep. Take this all the way down to 13. Make a right to head back towards town on 13. After a mile or two, turn left onto route 327. Follow this up the hill. Near the end of Robert Treman State Park you'll get to Van Dorn Rd, a dirt road to your right. Follow the road until you get to Bostwick, and make a left. Make a right on Applegate, and take this to Rt. 79 where you make a right. Follow 79 back to town and campus. It's something like 28 miles... definitely my favorite ride! Tons of climbing.
Best Memory/Advice/Lesson learned in the club: The club got me into riding, permanently. Even though I'm not riding at the moment, it will always be something I enjoy. It's a lifelong activity.
