The 5K Raised $5100 for the playground! Thanks to all that participated!













Race Day Information
For the 5K Run/Walk, it is fine to bring strollers, razor scooters, skates, and wagons. We would appreciate if you would leave motorized razor scooters, bicycles and pets at home for the safety and comfort of all of our participants.

7:15 a.m.   Registration and Check In (in front of Cornelia Elementary)

8:15 a.m.  5K Start (Participants will cross 70th Street and begin race on Cornelia Drive between 70th and Dunberry Lane)

9:00 a.m. Post Run Celebration will begin (Music, Food, Kid’s activities and entertainment by the Cornelia Playground)

9:15 a.m. Kids Fun Run Starts (Fun Run will be on Cornelia Elementary school grounds)

11:00 a.m.  50th Anniversary 5K Event Ends

We will be running through the neighborhood, circling Rosland Park and back to Cornelia Elementary to celebrate 50 years in the community and raise funds for a 21st Century playground that all of our residents can enjoy for years to come!   T shirts will be given to all 5K participants and ribbons for all Fun Run Participants.
