Read the Edina Patch article about the June 25th demo by clicking HERE.   3rd graders Frankie Bush and Eddie Rosenthal held a joint birthday party and in lieu of gifts they accepted contributions to the playground. The boys raised $600! MA Peterson has donated services to reduce the cost of the playground by $14,000: MA Peterson is the Presenting Sponsor of the new playground. Edina Orthodontic Associates has donated $5000 to the playground and is a Gold Sponsor of the new playground. Cemstone has donated $2500 in materials for our new playground and is a Silver Sponsor.  The Jerstad Family Foundation has donated $15,000 to the playground fund. The Cornelia PTO has made a $15,000 donation to the playground fund from its 2009-10 fundraising proceeds. $4900 from the 2010 Target RedCard program was earmarked for the playground.  The Cornelia Playground Fund received a $60,000 grant in June 2010. The Cornelia 5K Run/Walk on June 5th, 2010 that kicked off Playground fundraising raised $5100 for the new playground!
