Latest details are to be found at the Dingle Maths Project. This is where I will develop the solution to the current crisis in Mathematical Education. This is manifesting itself not only in Ireland but throughout the whole world, so this will be a global project. My initial work however will focus in Ireland and in three very easy steps I will resolve the problem. - I will train 40 of the 5,000 students, who were failed by the Irish Educational System, in my system of Computational Mathematical Physics. This will be done in a secluded spot down in West Kerry. The training will be hard, requiring a lot of physical and mental stamina. Those who volunteer must remember that I am a former Irish Army Officer. This training will be video taped, and will form the basis of an on-line course. This basic training will last about two months.
- I will then train those who graduate succesfully from basic training, to develop web based applications, so that the material we have already covered in the basic training can be made available to a global audience. All this training will be videotaped, and will be developed into an on-line academy for software development. This more advanced training will take 60 days.
- Those who graduate form the Advanced Training will then be trained to teach the Maths in a Moment course. This training will take 1680 hours.
My teachers will then train the remaining 5,000, and by the end of next year we will have our first graduation ceremony on Spike Island. If you are wondering why I am doing this, then you should read Maths in Crisis. |
