Georgia Southwestern Cooperative Program

Waycross College and Georgia Southwestern State University have a cooperative program agreement that allows Waycross College students to obtain a Bachelor degree from Georgia Southwestern State University online. Waycross College students must first obtain an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Waycross College. Only those students with an Associate degree in Business Administration from Waycross College are applicable for the program. They can then continue with Georgia Southwestern State University and obtain a Bachelor degree in either Accounting or Management. All courses for the Bachelor program taken with Georgia Southwestern are completely online through GeorgiaView Vista. Below are several websites and documents that you may find useful in deciding whether the program is right for you and to assist you if you are already participating in the cooperative program. I (Cori Oliver Crews) am the on-site coordinator and advisor for the program. I have also created a group on Facebook where all students interested or currently participating in the program can interact, communicate with me, and can receive updates and important information. This information is also displayed below. I can be contacted by email or on Facebook for any further details or questions.

Facebook Group - The group is entitled "Waycross College - GSW Cooperative Program". Here you can communicate with your advisor, interact with other students, and keep up to date with current happenings and important information concerning the program.

RAIN - This stands for Registration and Academic Information Network. RAIN is the same as BANNER that is used at Waycross College. Using the drop down menu on the top right, you can choose to log in to RAIN by clicking Secured Login. You will then enter your student ID number (this starts with 933) as your User ID. If you know your PIN or it has been send to you by GSW, you may enter that number and log in to RAIN. If you do not know your PIN, try your 6 digit birthday. If that does not work, please contact Student Services at GSW to get your PIN. Once you have logged into RAIN, you may register for classes (during registration periods - see the academic calendar), view class schedules, view transcripts, pay for classes, access forms, view financial aid, and many other functions. If you do not wish to register yourself, I will be glad to do so for you. My preferred method of communication is email. However, you may also call or schedule an office appointment if you wish.

Online Course Listing - Back at the main page for RAIN, you will see many other valuable resources such as the academic calendar, the bulletin (college catalog), class schedule, etc under the drop down menu under Secured Login. You can find all courses offered for each semester here by choosing the appropriate semester "class schedule". Once you choose this option, you will navigate to a page where you can then choose to view only the online courses offered.

GeorgiaView Vista - The login page for GSW's GeorgiaView Vista. This is where all of your online courses can be found and accessed. You should log in and access courses on the first day of class each semester. Your username is the first part of your Radar email address (GSW student email). This is everything before the @ sign. If you do not know your Radar email address, please follow the instructions under the section entitled "What is my username?" on the GeorgiaView log in page. If you cannot find your username using this method, please contact GSW Student Services. Your GeorgiaView Vista password should be the same as your RAIN PIN number. See the RAIN section above for more information on PIN numbers.

GSW Bookstore - All textbooks for GSW online courses can be found and purchased here by credit card or by applying an applicable financial aid.
